It is our goal to assist parents in making athletics a more affordable part of their child's life. Our organization believes that "Real Life" fundamentals are developed through our area's athletic programs, which will help our children learn such trains as teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline and commitment. We believe these traits will help our youth with their academics, social skills and workmanship throughout their lives.
If your K-12 grade child is interested in giving an athletic program a shot but your current financial situation does not allow this, please contact us. Every child should have the opportunity to participate if they have an interest in athletics.

If your child or children currently are eligible and have been approved for the federal “free and reduced-price meals” program available through the Hillsdale school system, then your family qualifies for the Excel Through Athletics Program.
Excel Through Athletics will also conduct a brief interview with the participant’s teacher to be sure that strong efforts are being put forward in the classroom. Random progress reports will be obtained from the teacher throughout the school year to ensure that academics are held to acceptable standards.

CLICK HERE to apply for the “free and reduced-price meal” program. Your family must be approved through this federal program to be eligible for ours, whether you choose to use its benefits at school or not.
Our program will provide each qualifying child up to $100 per year to assist with the purchase of equipment, clothing, or related registration fees. While this program only applies to children in the Hillsdale school district, the athletic activities or programs the child wishes to participate in do not have to be located in the Hillsdale area.
The $100 assistance may apply to more than one child per household. Applications are accepted throughout the calendar year, however the program runs from July 1st through June 30th. A child may apply and participate over multiple years.
